Triumph GT6 - looks like a MK2 (69-70)
Just like a spitfire, but with a roof and two more cylinders.

People already got it right but if you want a classic car and can wrench well these are the perfect buy if you are on a budget. They are probably the most inexpensive classic out there that has the look about it.

Great fun when they were self propelled. Of course you had to own two to keep one of them running. They did make every drive an adventure, though. When I actually got to where I was going, I felt like jumping out of the car, signalling a touchdown, and yelling “Yes! I made it!”
I remember the smells quite distinctly. The driver side carpet was always soaked in brake fluid. The passenger side was always soaked in battery acid. EP gear lube wafted in through the cardboard transmission cover. Boiling antifreeze and vapor lock gas fumes came in the same way. Hot days reminded you that the spare tire and gas tank were inside the car, just behind you. All of that, combined with permamently waterlogged 20 year old vinyl seat covers, made for an unforgettable combination.

Lovely (looking) classic British car. Really small z9smaller than a MG B, more the size of a MG Midget. I bet a Fiesta 1.0 liter + 5 speed would be a hoot in one of these
